As Ramoskie said, Eclipse is a very great piece of software for all kinds of dev. languages.

Excellent and complete web server from Apache available under different OS.

Great PHP optimized web server created by Zend. Check the Community Edition which is free.

Very powerfull tool for web devs, but be carefull, it really slows you down. Don't activate it until you need to work with it.

Finally, i'd like to recommend Total Commander 7.04a : http://www.ghisler.com/index.htm
It's a shareware (US$ 38) but it's really the best filemanager created since Magellan (AmigaOS... :D :D :D :D ). Many plugins exist and it also has a good community. Just try it, and you'll adopt it. ;)
